Mercedes-Benz reported that a 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé sold for EUR 135 million on 5 May 2022, describing it as the world’s most valuable car. It was one of two original coupés, sold to a private collector. This is a different car and a different transaction—not a resale of the Ferrari. We preserve the euro amount rather than presenting a comparison made with today’s exchange rate.
