What changed hands?
Jumanji hero game board. This is a production prop, not a retail board game.
A prop, not a game from a shop
Heritage described this as the screen-matched primary hero board. That identification is central to the record. Comparing the result with a retail Jumanji game would substitute a different kind of object.
A smaller number in an extraordinary auction
At $275,000, the board sits below the two Wizard of Oz lots in our selection. That placement is limited to these three results. It is not a claim about its position among all film props ever sold.
Read the number carefully
An auction result captures a particular object, a particular sale and the buyers competing on that occasion. It does not establish the value of every similar object, or what this one would sell for today.
Our selection keeps historical results separate from asking prices and estimates. Where the cited report does not break out fees, we say so rather than inventing a hammer price.

What does “source reviewed” mean?
We checked the published report against the amount and object listed here. That does not independently authenticate the object or confirm settlement of the transaction.
